Dove Advanced Care Deodorant Review & Coupon!

Hi!

Ok, so through the Influenster program, I was sent a full-size sample of Dove Advanced Care deodorant for free, in exchange for doing a review.

So, what are my honest thoughts?

My deodorant is usually the sale du jour, but I always use Dove body wash.  I just like the body wash better than anything else I’ve tried.  By the way, Costco has by far the best price on the body wash.  So, I was kinda excited about receiving the Dove deodorant.  The scent nicely compliments that of the body wash.  I’ve been using the deodorant for almost a month now, and I like it.  It seems to do the job.  The packaging claims 48 hour protection.  Now, being a busy mom, there have been a couple of times where I’ve gone 48 hours without a shower.  Eww.  I know.  Did the deodorant stand up?  I definitely needed to reapply, there was no question about that.  Living in Seattle, I don’t think I’m going to have a problem with it.  But, if I’m vacationing at Disney World in the summer, I’m going to need to reapply much more than say a clinical-level deodorant.  My underarms feel like they have the same moisture that my skin gets from the body wash, which is great.

All in all, I like the deodorant, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.  I think it’s a good everyday choice.  But, in cases of extreme heat and humidity, I might go with something a bit stronger to avoid reapplying.
