runDisney Awesomeness
runDisney events are pretty cool, and if you’ve never heard of them, are various running competitions from 5K’s to full marathons at each of the Disney Parks. Of course they’ve been Disney-fied as well! There’s some pretty cool extras when you run an event and Mickey and Minnie might even become your cheerleaders!

runDisney events generally do not fall on the frugal side of things, in fact they will set you back a pretty penny. However, if it motivates to you to get in shape, then it’s completely worth it. And heck, it’s still cheaper than months of a gym membership!
What’s fun about these events is that you may dress like your favorite princess or Disney character. And people get pretty creative in their running costumes.
I found iGlowRunning on Etsy, and thought the costume choices were pretty darn awesome. I think you’ll agree!
The prices range from $89 to $140 for each running ensemble. But if it makes you feel like Wonder Woman, the splurge is totally worth it!
For me, I think I could totally rock Vanellope from Wreck-it Ralph!
