I was very lucky to be selected as a host for a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate! A box was shipped containing all sorts of goodies to make the party a bit more fun!
I wanted to try something new and get a little creative. So, I decided to test out stop motion animation for our unboxing video. If you’d like to see all the fun sent in our #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate kit, check this out-
I’ve been asked several times how I created the video. I used two apps on my iPad, Stop Motion Studio and Videoshop. I also used an unconventional tripod, this Universal Tablet Bed Frame Stand (Amazon Affiliate Link). It took the better portion of an evening and night to film, and many more hours to edit. I’m a bit of a weirdo and actually really like creating this type of thing! It was my first time using stop motion animation, and I learned quite a bit!
My little preschooler LOVED her new Sofia the First suitcase! She made an elaborate story about how we were going to fill it with toys and bring it on the airplane to the pink castle on the mountain. Of which we will spend a night in the castle with a princess who wears pink, and she will show us around the castle where there’s a kitchen, microwave, and bathroom, and we will all wear our pajamas. And there were many treats in the castle like M&M’s and pretzels! 🙂 Love her!
