Free Disney Infinity for iPad! Plus New DuckTales!
So, I’ve been obsessed with Disney Infinity lately, and you can read my full review here.
What’s awesome is that the toy box mode for Disney Infinity is free on iPad until October 15th. Yes, really, FREE!
I definitely downloaded it, and the toy box on iPad is similar to that on the PS3. The controls take a bit of figuring out at first, but nothing that you can’t get used to quickly.
Also awesome, the figures that I bought for PS3 can also be used on the iPad. Each figure set contains a card with a unique code. The codes can then unlock the figures in the iPad app.
As I wrote in the review, I like the adventure mode better than the toy box mode, but that’s just me. But, I could really see this as entertaining on the road, especially if you’re on your way to Disney World! If you’re thinking about Disney Infinity, definitely get the app while it’s free.
Disney Interactive also announced the release of the new DuckTales: Scrooge’s Loot app. I loved the DuckTales TV show as a kid, and even had the original video game for Nintendo, so this was really nostalgic for me.
In the app you’re able to go on missions to get Scrooge’s loot back. The missions can be completed with online players similar to that of Club Penguin. To me, the app is mostly geared for kids in the 7-12 range.
DuckTales: Scrooge’s Loot is also currently free for iPad.
